Of the three choices for airports, WASHINGTON NATIONAL AIRPORT (DCA) is the most convenient. You can get to William Penn House by Metro, BLUE VAN (1-800-BLUE-VAN) or Cab. If you decided to take the Metro, see the Metro section. The Metro is the least expensive of the three choices.
To get here from DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (IAD) a cab will cost about $50. You can also take the WASHINGTON FLYER shuttle (1-888-927-4359) ($29). Or take the WASHINGTON FLYER shuttle to the West Falls Church Metro Station ($25). Then use the Metro - see directions above - to get to William Penn House.
To get here from THURGOOD MARSHALL BALTIMORE WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (BWI) you can catch a shuttle bus to the train or to the Metro. There are two trains - the MARC is the cheaper one but it doesn't run on weekends. The MARC costs about $7. The other option is the AMTRAK. The AMTRAK costs about $20. The shuttle to the Metro costs about $3 and the Metro costs about $2.
